That's cool

Glad this is still going on even if it's a mini series instead of a movie.

the movie was postponed. The mini series was supposed to coincide with the movie but they just decided to ignore that part of the series due to the movie being postponed. Movie has NOT been cancelled, it just has behind-the-scenes changes that are going on and because it's so close to October, they opted to push it back.

Huh I see.

I just noticed this is doing the whole "the stories become real" thing that Goosebumps, and Scary Stories are doing.

I probably wouldn't care if everyone else wasn't doing it.

well Are You Afraid of the Dark? was never about that so I wouldn't view it in the same way. You had a Midnight Society meeting in the woods, they prepare an intro for their story, announce the story while throwing something into the campfire to make the fire grow brighter and bigger, they tell the story as we see actors go through the story but they never once ever said that the stories they told were "true to life" stories
